While the world is in remembrance of 911, happened 15 years ago from today, Sept. 11, 2016, Margaret Avenue Chinese Focus Group held its first monthly Chinese Focus Service to celebrate Chinese Moon Festival at Margaret Avenue Church.

　

The service started at 3:30PM with Bible text from Romans 12: 13 “Distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.” Ev. Zhu held the service, assisted by Ev. Truong, Deacon Yang, Deacon Wang and young Deacon George Wang. Thirty (30) brothers, sisters, and guests participated this service, which is followed by our bi-weekly Bible study.

　

We went through Catechism Q&A book, from Question and Answer #31 to #40. Our retired District Elder Herb Pache and retired Priest Gary Schmidt and his wife also joined us. Finally, we celebrated Chinese Moon Festival together with Moon cakes and potluck fellowship.
